Transmedia

My intent has always been to use a transmedia approach to tell stories emerging from The David Serko Project.

A transmedia approach leverages the unique storytelling qualities of various media platforms, each telling the story in a slightly different way, from different angles, with the goal of expanding the arc and scope of the story.  Of course, it helps to have a good story too … that we had.

Media Platforms Used:

#1:  The web and social media, through this website and The David Serko Project Facebook page.
#2:  A series of podcasts : My Brother Is Dead and Other Funny Stories that became the impetus for the play script.
#3  The play: My Brother Kissed Mark Zuckerberg.
#4:  Footnote the film
#5:  In 2018 a young adult illustrated book will become the fifth.
